Both believe that man was made of dirt and given life, then the two diverge again. The Bible states that on the sixth day of creation man was formed from dirt and given the breath of life, and then a woman was created from one of his ribs. The Greeks, believed that Prometheus, one of the few titans still alive, sculpted man from mud and gave them fire stolen from the gods. To punish the men and Prometheus, Zeus made Pandora, the first woman, and gave her a box containing all the evil spirits in the world, and chained Prometheus to a mountain to be eaten by eagles. The Fall of man is one of the most similar stories between the two. In Christianity Adam(first man), and Eve(first woman) lived in the Garden of Eden and were told never to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Eventually Eve was tempted to eat the fruit and did and shared it with Adam. As punishment the two were expelled from the garden and given various curses. Heaven is actually divided intro three different parts. First heaven is the air above the earth, and Second Heaven is where the moon, stars, an other planets are found. The Third Heaven is the unseen home of God and penultimate paradise for the souls of his followers. Hell, conversely is described as pure torture for sinful people. The Greeks also had a concept of the afterlife. While a heaven-like place exists in Greek mythology it is reserved for the gods only. The souls of man all go to the underworld where they are separated by virtue into 4 fields. The field of punishment is reserved for evil men to face punishment for their lives. The Elysian Fields are for good men and heroes to be rewarded. The fields of Asphodel are where men who were neither good nor evil reside. Lastly is the Fields of Mourning. This place is reserved for those who were consumed by their tragedies while they were alive. In Christianity, it is taught that There is one God above all others, and this is true in the Greek mythology as well. Zeus was believed to be king of the gods and by right the best and strongest of them all. However Jehovah and Zeus are hardly similar at all. The Christian God is viewed an exemplar of what is good and punished those who are evil. Zeus on the other hand is an
