I don’t believe it was fair for the rest that a few were called perfect, because of who their family is and because they are skilled in certain areas. The courtiers were made as a role model to those who weren’t categorized as courtiers. Castiglione also believed that those who were beautiful on the inside were blessed with beauty on the outside too. Meaning that if you were beautiful on the outside then you were beautiful on the inside, but if you were ugly on the outside you were also ugly in the inside. He had so many rules and regulations onto how to be perfect that only a few could be perfect, and fall into his courtier box. The truth is that no one is perfect and this idea Castiglione was creating in his mind was nothing more than an idea that the perfect man or woman exist. Everyone is different in their own way, and no one should be penalized because of it. What I mean is that if we create this “Perfect” person than everyone who isn’t like them and doesn’t fall in that category would feel as if they are not good enough or as if something were wrong with them. We are in an are much different from Castiglione. We are in an era were perfect doesn’t exist. Things might of changed, but Castiglione did influence a lot of people and he also influence art in the 1700’s in a big way, he influenced the renaissance
