The low tuition will cause college to make sure every dollar counts which could mean cutting corners where they can, making the quality of the education as great as it could be. Lowering tuition would make colleges have the mindset of quantity over quality. Colleges would look to enroll as many students as possible in order to make up for the money they are losing with the lower tuition. Even if it is wrong, we automatically associate the high cost something, like tuition, as it being more valuable and a better use of their money. It’s the idea that something valuable like an education has to cost more, and a lower cost gives students the idea that there is something wrong with that college or the degree they are providing. Although it could make sense that a low tuition would mean a lower education, a business degree is just a business degree. Any college that a degree comes from that student will have learned the same basic material at a costly school than at a low cost college. Additionally, if the of the same type of shoes is different, that doesn’t mean that one is better than the other. The higher price just means one store is able make its customers think it’s worth the higher price. This is the same with tuition, a medical degree at a college that has a high tuition price, is the same as a college who has a lower tuition
