God bless you, Karen. I really enjoyed reading your post. It is so relevant to the core of organizational behavior. Job dissatisfaction is one of the largest obstacles in the the work force today. When one is dissatisfied with their job it is difficult to obtain and achieve the desired growth, productivity, and sound values that comes along with having satisfied employees. I find it interesting that narcissism is covered under Personality and Values according to (Robbins & Judge 2002). I pointed this out to her and she totally agreed. What I found to be interesting is that she comprised a high sense of narcissism. I thought what if she had been Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving how much differently that would have been. Though she does not admit to being a narcissists, she makes it clear that she is in charge and she will have her way at all cost. As explained …show more content…
Our overtime desired list is implemented and coordinated between utilizing the Employee Labor Manual and the National Mail Handlers Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The overtime desired list is a procedure put into place to afford employees the opportunity to make additional money outside of their regularly scheduled paychecks at 1 ½ times the regular pay. The way this process works is that the list is generated based on seniority. At the beginning of each new quarter a blank list is published on the board seeking volunteers for overtime under varying circumstances to accommodate the organizational mission.

The policy is that the most senior person is first asked to work overtime. If that person is not able to do so, then, management moves down to the next person on the list until the entire list has been exhausted. Upon exhaustion of that list, then, the entire process is started all over again with the senior person on the

Narcissists are great at being chameleons. They are known for being smart, confident, and articulate, and usually very charming when we first get to know them. Oftentimes they are obnoxious, and love themselves anyway…at least outwardly. More striking — and more surprising — they were aware that people who knew them well did not have quite the same high opinion of them. They acknowledged that those people would indeed see them as self-absorbed and disagreeable.…

Secondly, it is determined by how well the outcomes meet or exceed expectations. If the employees feel that they are working harder but not getting equitable rewards then they will develop negative attitude towards the work and organization.…
