The controversy surrounding abortion has been prevalent in society since before 1973 (NAF) and continues to be a dividing factor between pro life and pro choice. Pro-life supporters believe that abortion should not be allowed to be performed anywhere while pro choice supporters believe that the decision is up to the woman.
