The Controversy Over The Use Of Drugs In High School

Drugs in high school should be the number one thing that people look at. There are a lot of problems in this world but this is a major one. This is a big problem, more and more teens in high school are starting to use drugs. Cocaine, marijuana, crystal, whether the students are doing it or selling it, it's still a big problem in high school. One reason is that when a student does drugs, he is more likely to fail than other students. Another reason is that drugs can change you and can even make you more aggressive and that's obviously not good for a student. my final reason is that when students get caught whether by the school or parents, they have a chance of getting kicked out. These reasons make me believe that drugs in high school is a big problem and should be addressed. I don’t have a strategy on how this should be addressed but I think schools should really look more at this situation of their students selling and doing drugs and how this is affecting their grades and maybe even their relationships with other students. …show more content…
