The movie Life is beautiful has drawn a lot of controversy over whether the Holocaust should be looked at as a comedy. The movie is about a jewish father and son being sent to a jewish concentration camp, where the father makes the whole thing look like a game to his son, and the grand prize is a real tank. Throughout the journey the Father makes it seem to be hilarious. This film is a powerful presentation of a Father's love for his child, and risking his life for his family. Many people argue that the film should not be a comedy because of all the Jews that have suffered and passed away in the concentration camp.
