Abortion: Should It Be Legal?

The topic of abortion is one of the most controversial subjects in the world as of today. Abortion is a form of terminating the pregnancy caused by men and women during sexual intercourse. This particular issue has been so big in the world that is has even been debated in over two major court cases. Abortion typically in my opinion is a subject that most people normally can 't come to a conclusion on due to the fact of it having both its pros and its cons to the situation. In society today, the biggest question is whether abortion should be legal? You have some people who are trying to get abortion legalized in all states and and then you have some who are trying to have abortion banned entirely. It also shows in studies that most neuroscientists believe that the cortex is necessary for pain perception, but it also states that the cortex does not become functional until at least the 26th week of a fetus ' development. (Should abortion be legal?, 2014) This is normally after most abortion procedures are usually performed. This does not seem like much of a pro but it actually is, you do not want any fully developed human being to feel any pain during a procedure like that. So technically if the fetus isn 't fully formed then there is no pain that is being done to the unborn child. Another con to the situation is that with all these abortions that are taking place in the world, it is taking away from the very patient and anxious people who are very willing to adopt a child. Some people aren 't able to have children due to medical problems or problems that they are born with, and it is not fair to those individuals who would love children for you to abuse the privilege they wish they would have had. It is not fair to those who can 't produce a child if they tried, for you to produce children just to abort them. It comes off to those who want to adopt as a very selfish
