People have been completely divided into two groups concerning this issue, being pro-choice or pro-life. There are only a few states in United States that allow abortions. Due to the limited number of states that allow abortion, women are limited to the options they have if they would need or want an abortion. People who are pro-life believe that abortion should be completely illegal no matter what the circumstances are regarding an unwanted pregnancy. They also believe that life begins at conception; therefore having an abortion would be immoral because it involves killing an innocent life. As a result of …show more content…
Abortion is not the answer to an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. Just because a girl is pregnant and not ready for a baby does not mean she has to keep the child. Adoption is a very good choice and it is also a very nice gesture to do for people. There are many people in this world that simply cannot have children and their only choice is adoption. Those people would be so grateful and love to have a baby even if it is biologically not theirs. Many women are traumatized by what they have done and wish they could take back what they have done and feel as though hurting themselves will solve their problems or guilt of having an abortion. Abortion increases the likelihood of future miscarriages. A married couple could be trying to start a new chapter in their life by having children, but for some reason they keep having miscarriages. These miscarriages could be a result of when the girl was young she got pregnant before she was ready to be so and got an abortion. Abortion is not an option and it should be completely illegal. Many women don’t know how abortion affects their baby, they just look at it as a way to fix a mistake they may have made by becoming pregnant in the first place. I don’t believe that this is right at all. In 2012, unmarried women accounted for 85.3% of all abortions. (U.S. Abortion Statistics) To me that seems like just a lot of women who felt alone, and like they couldn’t take care of a baby on their own.…

Having an abortion has become a quick and easy fix for women who have made a mistake and this is horrible. The other problem is that women are not using it as a one-time fix and learning from their mistakes, but rather as a contraception. This is proven by statistics such as, “50% of women now seeking abortion have had at least one previous abortion” (Guttmatcher). This shows how people are not taking an abortion serious enough. They are taught that the baby is not a living person, but a tissue and so they do not think it is that big of a deal to abort the baby.…

Abortion has been allowed every since Roe vs Wade trial in 1973 (McBride). It was decided that the only way for abortion to be legal is if it was deteriorating the mother’s health (McBride) But if one whole is in the house and one mouse comes in, the rest are right behind it. Abortion has been a great topic of debate for many years, both in terms of law/rights and in morality/religion. The constant debate has split people into two sides: Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Those who are Pro-Choice believe that women have a right to decide the fate of their body, health, and life. They personally may not get an abortion, but they feel that it is still the right of the mother to choose. Abortion prevents unsafe pregnancies, protects women 's right to choose, liberates women from patriarchal control over women 's sexual and reproductive lives, and allows the mother to choose whether, when, and how often to have a child.…

Reproductive rights are the subject of extensive debate in capitol buildings and classrooms alike. In fact, just the other week, a friend and I got into a heated argument over the autonomy of a woman versus that of a fetus. My friend believes that a woman's right to make certain choices- namely abortion- end when fertilization occurs. Conversely, I'm very pro-choice for a variety of reasons. Firstly, I consider myself a feminist and as such value an individual's right to determine their own medical procedures in a higher regard than a fetus.…

A woman will have to decide for herself, based on what she believes in, how her life will be with those beliefs, and who she will integrate with her decision. Abortion is not a choice for everyone, however for Pro-choice supporters is the right decision whether it is for convenience or to a woman who was a rape victim and wanted to end the pregnancy. It seems like an easy fix to a life problem that you can 't solve by yourself. If you start thinking about what will happen if abortions were made illegal, consequently a number of women will become injured or sterile as a result of the procedure. People will think that giving the child up for adoption could be the solution but in most cases, this can be very emotionally damaging for the child 's mother.…

Abortion is a huge problem that has caused a wide range of controversy all over the United States. There are two sides to the problem, which are people who oppose abortion or support it. Abortion becomes a big deal when trying to decide whether a fetus should be considered a human being already when a woman aborts. In my case I believe that a woman should not be able to abort a child inside her unless there is some type of serious medical issue where the child may not come out alive. When a woman aborts a child, they did not want, it is like the killing of another human being who had no say or ever did anything wrong to deserve it.…
