Furthermore, President Trump had failed to speak more on the state of the country on that sad day, which lead to him receiving criticism. There are many ways on how a person should react to certain things within the country, some would say that President Trump seemed emotionless while others would think that he was doing the best he could in his position. Even though he was doing the best he could in his position to help ease tension, which was seemingly insincere and temporary, he only made this speech in order to "appease" the angered Americans, the people that were criticizing him.

When President Trump finally comes forth and gives this speech, he creates a criticism sandwich, beginning with something good, then saying something that was heartbreaking and needed more attention than it received, then he concluded with positives on what he would be doing to make things better. “I am in Washington today… Justice will be delivered.” (Quartz Media, Donald

Even during his speech, he talks, brags, of what he was able to do and speaks onto what he was unable to stop. As President, this manner was out of his reach, some would say, but there were many measures that could have been taken to better serve the people, lives wouldn’t have been lost if we were all able to follow up on the First Amendment. Will these people who have inflicted pain on the oppressed, get what they deserve? Egan (2016) supported his opinion with evidence that makes his argument worth listening and or reading to. His argument is more credible than someone who just despises Donald Trump for personal reasons. Egan (2016) still manages to convey his audience by breaking down Donald Trump’s plan. He ridicules Trump’s plan and reminds citizens how absurd it sounds to him. Logic is present but pathos takes over Egan’s (2016) op-ed, aiming for a personal connection between him and each citizen.…

He made good points about the economy and jobs. But further in the debate Trump seemed to make a few false claims. Along with the fact that further into the debate Trump seemed to lose his temperament, even though he claims the opposite. Collinson stated, “he made inaccurate statements on everything from laws regarding policing, his support for the Iraq War and his contention that Clinton was behind the so-called birther conspiracy.” After the debate Trump claimed he was happy with the outcome of the debate. Kennedy wanted to create an image of a strong, intelligent, and vibrant leader, and he tried to use that image to help push reform through congress; however he was largely unsuccessful in this endeavor. He faced early rejection for some of his major ideas, but he was successful in raising the minimum wage and establishing the Peace Corps (“Domestic”). Even though President Johnson was similarly known for his personality in office, it was different from Kennedy’s personality. Brinkley explains, “. .…

Pence was not happy with his comment and continued discussing his answer to the question that was originally asked. Kaine went on to reference a point in the first presidential debate where Donald Trump referred to himself as “smart” for not paying his taxes. I believe Tim Kaine’s further comments about how the unpaid taxes effects out country, was an incredibly important mention. The taxer payer money is money that supports our military, our veterans, and many other aspects of our nation. As far as I am concerned, not paying his taxes is in no way justifiable.…

Author Yoav Fromer argues that Donald Trump displays the "bullying, imperiousness and ignorance" that the American public feels secretly and that this mind set is what helped develop the country into what it is today. Aside from the hasty generalization that all Americans possess some level of prejudice, Fromer 's argument fails to acknowledge that behaving like we have in the past will not propel us into the future. It will chain us to a cycle and inhibit further development in the U.S. Learn from your mistakes. It 's the reason that while we were growing up our parents instilled in our minds that making mistakes was valuable.…

Donald Trump is a name we have all seen in the news lately with his outlandish language, degrading of his opponents, and those who have questioned his reasons behind joining the presidential race. He has went out and made a personal attack on John McCain saying he wants a war hero who is not captured then turns around and states that he (Donald) has done more to help veterans than John. These kinds of attacks have been his method of showing his views and frankly have been upsetting a lot of people in the U.S. and in politics, but that is where we need to look at him as a representative. One such attack was on the Mexican population we have here in America mainly those who are here illegally, stating that most illegals were criminals and rapists, and that is where the…

Unlike most, Trump is willing to cause a ruckus in what he believes. As we turn back to the idea about dramatism, we look at the idea that Trump was first regarded as having no shot to win the nomination. And this was the same idea on the democratic side as well as it was said Bernie Sanders also had no chance to win the nomination. Trump’s message is about safety, growing the military and protecting our country from terrorists. Another, example about how Trump has shifted the paradigm of political rhetoric and especially dramatism is the idea of endorsements from various respected senators and governors.…

The way he opened his speech involved being sentimental, connecting with the audience about the common issues that we face as a nation not only in America, but in other places in the world, then he gets straight right that “Immigration reform should mean something else entirely: it should mean improvements to our laws and policies to make life better for American Citizens. The language that Trump uses also is meant to speak to a specific group within the audience, and that is the American Citizens themselves. That is the main focus that Trump attempts to rely on. The way Trump brings up issues is also a method to further appeal towards the audience that he is the most capable candidate to become the next president because of the way the current government handles the problems with immigration that Trump believes will get done once he is elected. Trump addresses his reform ideas.…

This is not an uncommon belief because Trump uses presupposition in a similar way to show his unhappiness with the way America has been run: “But we are transferring power from Washington D.C. and giving back to you, the American People” (“The Inaugural Address, 2017). His statement presupposes that previously the power of America has not been in the hands of its citizens, but that, as president, he will work to return that power to the people. Their use of presupposition helps to show their audience the places in American government and structure that they think needs…

Citizens must trust their country, but a country does not have to trust its citizens. This double standard leads to anger and when people get angry, they protest. The United States does not need any more protestors more than those who are already protesting the election, which many believe was rigged for Donald Trump, thus showing a mistrust in the democratic system in America. The trust has been broken between America and its peoples. America has also managed to lose the trust of perhaps its only real friend in the middle east: Israel.…
