My mom was a teen mom, pregnant at the age fifteen and a freshman in high school. She struggled a lot through school with a baby so she had to drop out to take care of him. She was living with her boyfriend, who went to work while she watched her baby. It wasn 't easy for her especially because later in her life her boyfriend passed away, so it made things even more difficult. She now had three kids already and pregnant with one, remind you she was only twenty-two at that time. She was sexually active and of course she didn’t tell her mom about it, so if high schools were to give contraceptives to their students it would of helped her to be in a different position than where she was when she became a teen mom. High school dropouts do not have a much successful life like people who do finish high school. Some people do find good jobs but would most likely get paid under ten dollars. School is where students spend most of their times at for seven hours. It is like a second home to some students. The importance school is trying to prove is to keep the teen students safe. Make them realize that parents can 't be there forever. That teens have to be able to support themselves before they make decisions that leads to consequences. Today in society the rates of teen pregnancy, dropouts, and sexually transmitted diseases have increased because of unprotected sex. It is important that there is a way to stop this issue. Society should make more commercials or movies, something that would interest teens. If it was made worldwide it would make not only teens realize but parents or people of all ages. It would definitely decrease and prevent many things that are unwanted. Only thing the country should want is to keep the world
