Falling in love with your enemies is never a smart idea.For Romeo and Juliet they couldn't help that their parents hated each other. In family feuds the worst things could always happen. In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet demonstrates that the consequences of civil strife include legal, emotional, and physical suffering. When Romeo found out that Juliet was a Capulet, everything went downhill from there. After Tybalt Killed Mercutio, Romeo wanted to defend his friend so he killed Tybalt. When Prince Escalus Found out about the Deaths of Tybalt Capulet and his Kinsman Mercutio, he banished Romeo from Verona: “...And for that offence Immediately we do exile him hence: I have an interest in your hate's proceeding, My blood for your rude brawls doth lie a-bleeding” (III, iii, 185).The prince didn't want to kill Romeo because Tybalt was first to Kill and Romeo was just Defending Mercutio, So the Prince just exiled Romeo. In Romeo and Juliet's case many people they care about get killed, Mainly themselves. Because of the feud Juliet's parents don't want her to marry Romeo because he's a Montague, so they try to make her marry a bachelor named paris but she didn't want to marry him so she pretends to kill herself. It didn't work out so well because ROmeo thinks Juliet is actually dead so he buys poison from an apothecary: “...O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.” ( V, iii, 119) Romeo killed himself in the Capulet Monument after seeing Juliet laying peacefully.
