Pam Stenzel's Speech Analysis

Pam Stenzel, a world renowned speaker, tackles the issues that most are afraid to speak on, the consequences of sex outside of marriage. Stenzel speaks to over 500,000 teenagers per year on this topic. Stenzel speaks from a place of familiarity and her passion is to educate as many young people that she can on the topics of sex, love, and relationships. A product of rape, Pam teaches that one can achieve no matter what type of situation that they may come from. She encourage individuals to think of the emotional and physical consequences that one will endure if they participate in sex outside of marriage. On Friday, July 15, 2016, Pam spoke to several individuals of all ages at the Church of God by Faith Impact Conference. She shared several strategies in how teenagers can abstain from sexual relations and remain pure until marriage. Teenagers can abstain from sexual activity by being taught the consequences of sexual intercourse and through encouragement from parents and positive influences in their lives. Pam Stenzel left a personal impact on my life that day.

Her mother was raped by her father. She has no idea to this present day who her biological parents are. “Giving me up for adoption was the best thing my mother could have ever done,” she stated. “I have no idea what my race is”, she spoke firmly, “I was raised in a home with several different races.” She’s the oldest of eight children and which all of them was adopted except for one. From the beginning her mother knew what her life would matter. Pam went on to graduate from college with a degree in Psychology. From there she began her career with working with young ladies. A group of parents approached her about to speaking to some young people about sexual abstinence. The event turned out to be a success.
