Has Morals really changed overtime
Growing up parents always will discipline children for the wrong doings and award them for their good behavior. As children transition into adolescent to adulthood what was taught either develops to a mature state or just do not use it. Not every moral is not used in life just the ones that suit the lives of individuals. In 2016 older generations belief that the morals have changed overtime from generation to generations.
What are morals? Growing up as children we are taught the right and wrongs of doing things and handling situations. You would always hear do not date the same gender or you have to be with the opposite gender. You need to be married before having sex and/or children. Also, the great saying it’s cheaper to keep her. Meaning do not let divorce be an option when you are thinking about getting married. Overtime we tend to follow these morals as a guideline to life and make it our own opinion or option on what we want to do. These morals have been passed down from generation to generation. These same morals are constantly changing but changing for the better or worse?

Those who are in a same sex relationship is fighting to be equal and have the same rights as a normal heterosexual married couple. We the people have no right to judge others for who they fall in love with. Nowadays the older folks from generations ago would say this is wrong and do not pass the law for same sex marriage. According to a “November 2012 survey by LifeWay, only 37 percent of adults in the United States affirmed traditional teachings that homosexual behavior is sinful” (Mattingly, 2013, p.1).
