How would you feel if your child came home one day and stated that there were getting bullied? Would you brush it off as if it was unimportant? Would you simply say “it will be okay, just tell them to stop”? What if it was on the computer, would you take the device away or would you have the notion that kids will be kids? Every single minute of every single day, people are constantly being cyberbullied. It tears people apart and hurts them not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. It is an epidemic that is not being recognized. It is proven in history that cyberbullying can kill. It is just as deadly as a virus. This is important. People do not understand that this is serious and harmful. Bullying someone can only have bad outcomes. Cyberbullying needs to end and by teaching kids and adults the effects, we can rid the world of this hideous crime. First and foremost, people need to be taught what can happen to someone due to bullying. Cyberbullying kills. It makes people feel awful about themselves. It often leads to suicide. To help people understand the effects of bullying someone, you need to show the ugly truth. Suicide is never the option; however, it seems for many …show more content…
It does not make you look in any fashion “cool”. It is a dangerous aspect of life that unfortunately kills. This is an issue that is always brushed off by adults and even students. It can not be brushed off as nothing anymore. People need to take action. Have days in the school to have an anti-bullying assembly, parents need to talk to their children and vise-versa. Most days bullying goes unnoticed. Then one day the unnoticed person gets an overwhelming fear and can not take it anymore. Do not let someone else take their life due to cyberbullying. Suicide is never the option for anyone. Make non-anonymous websites so that people know exactly what they can say. Make a stand to make the online community safer for the whole
