Guns have been around for many years; it has been updated as year went by. An article, “The history of Gun Control Part 1”, touches the key point on why Gun Control need to be in force for those that are owners of a firearm. A philosopher, George Santayana states the following; “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. It’s true. One of the reasons to study history is to avoid repeating past mistakes”. Is clear that Mr. Santayana believes that everyone should pay close attention to history and the reason behind the decision the government made in that time period. Despite that many people lost their life because guns were in the hands of the wrong person, Guns manufacture volunteered to add a child safety lock on new guns. Today we fight for the control act to be taken in serious matter as we still have crime happen because of the fault of other that are not considerate for those that have lost their life or are paralyzed because a gun was in the hand of the wrong person.
