Alcohol doesn 't really appeal to me because I don 't like how it taste. However I still go to parties about once a month meaning I only have three to five drinks a month which isn 't a lot on a monthly basis. Nonetheless, five drinks within five hours is still considered a lot but I still feel like a drink alcohol in moderation. I knew that there are many consequences associated with excessive drinking such as weight gain and liver problems. However I did not know that excessive alcohol use can reduce the brain’s size. I also was not aware that the brain’s frontal lobe could undergo damage from excessive alcohol consumption.

For example, on Facebook I will share my current town because I have very strict security settings which allows only specific people to see my activity, my information and even my profile. However I don 't share my location on other social media such as Instagram or Snapchat where anyone can follow you and see your activity and personal information. Also, meeting people through the internet isn 't something I do because I am honestly worried that the person I could be meeting isn 't who they say they are or they 're simply not the same person as I saw online. To explain, I could be meeting a guy for a coffee after numerous late night conversations only to find out that he is mentally deranged or I could always meet that girl from London, England who is also attending Dawson College that wants me to show her around Montreal, but she actually ends up being a forty-nine year old …show more content…

For example, taking breaks to rest and nap is an option to increase alertness and concentration during long journeys. Another way to improve my driving habits is simply deciding not to drive if I am too tired or if I feel somnolent because of the medication.

The first step I’d need to take to lower my risk of getting heart disease is quitting smoking once and for all. The second thing I should do is get at least sixty minutes of physical activity a day.

During summer, tanning is one of my favourite things to do. Since my skin is naturally tanned, I don 't put sunscreen on unless the UV index surpasses 7, which is rare in Canada. However, that does not mean I shouldn 't wear sunscreen. That being said, I am careful with my sun exposure because I know my skin type and how resistant it is to sun. However, I could be a little more careful in order to protect my skin and avoid getting skin cancer.

Getting an annual check up is something that I do because it is important to me. I don 't go to make sure that I 'm at a healthy weight but rather to know if my blood pressure and heart rate are normal. I also get annual checkups to ensure that my mental health is stable or
