The new flow of thoughts (mind-chatter) will support you as if you were floating effortlessly downstream on a river. The struggle will be over as your thoughts become naturally aligned with love. Then the universal life force will interact with your new, supportive thoughts and will help you initiate and maintain healthier relationships with the opposite sex. How the Subconscious Rules Your Day There is a clear difference between your conscious mind and your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind sees only the surface of events (the outer reality). Your conscious mind is logical and acts through your rational will and desires, such as wanting a life partner, more money, or better health. Your heart beats automatically, and you breathe without effort. When you learned to ride a bike, the deepest areas of your mind stored that skill for you to use in the future. The pri- mary goal of your subconscious is to keep you alive and happy. If you try to hold your breath, your subconscious will automatically make you uncomfortable so that you exhale and take in more air. In addition to all of the physical actions your body performs, the subconscious controls most of your mental activity. Your core beliefs are a part of the pattern that the deep mind likes to sustain. Do you always feel as if you’re not good enough or that you are a victim in life? Are you insecure around authority figures or submis- sive with the opposite sex? That is because you hold these thoughts in your sub- conscious— am unlovable, I am unwanted, I am not good enough, I am bad, I am wrong, I am a mistake, I am ugly, I am poor, I am stupid, and so on.
