There are been too many causalities involved in this conflict and it has been going on for too long. An alternative would be too give each group a section of the land to own and the section that has been contested should be own by both parties. An advantage of this solution would be that each side has control of their own land and can conduct themselves has they wish without fighting. And the side in which they have share would be easier to come to an agreement for because they already have their own land. However, the disadvantage would be if they can actually agree on what part of the land to own and what part of the land to share. The problem is the land in question is Jerusalem and it is significate to both Jews and Arabs. For Jews Jerusalem is a holy city and it means a lot to a people that have been hunted and killed for their beliefs. For the Arabs Jerusalem is also an important city because it is the location of the Prophet’s night journey.
