I do tend to over stress on small things that I encounter or have to deal with in my day to day life. I have always had a low self-esteem and at moments I still do but now I have become less caring about what other may think or say about me. I finally understand that not everyone is looking at you or waiting for you do make a mistake. And you cannot change what others think or perceive about you. The only person you can change is yourself. This is how I have helped my emotional wellness in the past couple of years. My plans are to go into nursing school and become a registered Nurse. I wanted this since high school and since then I have tried my best to gain the most experience and knowledge towards this career. I took certified nursing assistants course in high school that led me to gain experience in the nursing home environment. Although, the work of a CNA is different from what a nurse does, there is an overlap of patient care. Patient care is fundamental in all aspects of the health care delivery. Working on a skilled unit gave me practice and opportunity to observe and learn from the nurses on the floor who were willing to teach me. These experiences will be extremely helpful when going into nursing school. I am always finding new ways of gaining knowledge that will be beneficial for me in the long
