I do not think any single person’s personal battle with the limitations society has placed on their gender is more important or harder than another, the struggle of being accepted is something everyone faces in their lifetime. I work in a male dominated field and I am constantly having to prove myself and work harder to be noticed and taken seriously. I often come home in tears of anger and frustration because while I am working late, the guys go out for beer and wings and they never work more than what is expected of them, but yet they always get higher raises and promotions.
