Rhydian has toys, a car, and even he only has his cousins. Sometimes I like to have a little fun and say this is my car with which he responds by saying, no my car. We have this conversation about everything. He loves to look in the mirror and say ME! At age three trucks and basketball are the best things in the world. Rhydian won`t go anywhere without his favorite dump truck. He loves driving in the car because he gets to see lots of trucks. Not that everything he calls a truck is actually a truck, but he has the general idea down. The doctor says its normal for him to classify everything as a truck for a while until earns and develops more. I try and have conversations with him now, but it doesn’t always go well as he is not such a great listener. My husband is wonderful with Rhydian. He loves to play trucks and whatever else interests Rhydian at the time. The doctor said that most kids prefer to play with their father, and I can attest to that. Its only because he is not as careful and anxious of Rhydian getting hurt as I am; however, if Rhydian get a crap or falls down his mommy is who he wants. This is exactly how the doctor said would go, that it is part of normal healthy

American Society vs. Brave New World Society There is a plethora of things that differentiate American society from that of the novel Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. One of them is the quote “everyone belongs to everyone” (Huxley) which, in one sense, may mean that everyone in the society is equal, but in another sense, may mean that there are no relationships and everybody has sex with everybody like hippies in the 1960s. In American society, there are some people that enjoy having sexual intercourse with no strings attached meaning that there is no commitment There are also some people that do enjoy being in a relationship and then there are the people that only stay in a relationship long enough to have sex with the other person in the…

One of the best things caretakers can do is to figure out and be aware of their child’s or little friend’s position in terms of development as it will make it much easier to choose appropriate toys, rules and ways of discipline. Comparing a child to a ‘’textbook child’’ or what a child his age is typically expected to be able to do regarding social, emotional, cognitive, language, fine and gross motor skills can be an effective way to place the child in an appropriate level of development for his specific age. Thus, to compare my 3 year old little friend, I have written down observation notes that include almost every activity and skill I have watched him master, achieve often, begin to show, and refuse to try. First of all, socially, my little…

My Timeline and My Lifeline represent events in my life that have contributed to who I am today. Some national events like the attacks of 9/11 and Columbine (that occurred four days before I was born), increased safety concerns for all of the nation which is why employers want to ensure who he or she hires is qualified and someone he or she can trust, while lawmakers often raise the issue of safety when passing a law. Other national events are increasingly surrounding technology.…
