In 1917 one of his sister 's travelled all the way from Sault Ste. Marie to find out how her brother was doing. Staying at the Oastler 's in Foley more of Aaron 's story is uncovered. In The Story of Oastler Farm the visit and more is outlined (Aaron is spelt Ern here):
