I think this because they only buy minor plastic parts from the suppliers. this I feel is going to make the production time faster; as the company often are late with the delivery of product because of the production can be slowed down because of quality issues. with buying more parts from suppliers its going to improve the quality and speed the production up thus reducing the late delivery rate.
