When we say ethics, many would mean it is an individual’s knowledge of what is good or bad using various distinct senses. In business, the decision to act morally in an organization is the right one. This would not only bring certainty on an organization but also enhance the image of an organization as a whole. However, a moral standard applied in business could also be applied to individual’s daily lives such as stealing, cheating or lying. In simple words, business ethics is the set of laws of ethics that administer on how an organization or companies function, how decision determines and how the employees are taking care of. Acting in a moral way would tell you a course of action if it is “right” or “wrong”. In this case, you have the choice …show more content…
Some of these practices might not be applicable to the standards of an organization. In meta ethics, it questioned how we comprehend, being knowledgeable and intending meaning when we talk ethical statements. I would say, for instance, “Stealing is ethically wrong.” Metaethics is about the basic understanding of what I meant on this statement, “What did I mean to be “ethically wrong”? The response to this question would have assumptions of ethical reasoning in determining the certainty of the arguments morally. But would it be applied by theory of general ethics in which commonly involves in other areas in the life of an individual? There is a logical relation between ethics in business and in general. However, business ethics is not just about unfavorable task of attempting to explain what activity is morally unacceptable, but also promoting sense of achievement for admirable conduct by an individual such as the likes of Martin Luther King, Jr. or Mother Theresa who became the role model and inspiration of many lives.
