The Columbine Shooting Imagine, what starts off as just another day at school turns into the worst high school shooting in history. Imagine losing some of your friends on a day that started worry-free. These are some of the events that occurred for the students of Columbine High School on the tragic day of April 20, 1999 (“Columbine High School shootings”). The Columbine shooting is a tragic event that today it’s background, the actual massacre, and the impact on the town are still talked about today. First, the background information of the shooting.
