In the novel, written by Truman Capote, a story of the Clutter family is told. Father Herb, mother Bonnie, and their teenagers Kenyon and Nancy are a basic American family living in Holcomb, Kansas. In this story, the narrator tells the story of their lives. The family is murdered and the two men who committed the murder, Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, flee to Mexico. Fortunately, a cellmate of Dick’s knew what his plan was and where to find him. The law enforcement ended up finding Perry and Dick in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This book interested me because of the murder aspect of it, the way that the cellmate of all people was the person to help the police find the murderers, that’s so ironic. I like that the way that the family is introduced right
