At least she hadn't slipped into unconsciousness, or drifted into a coma, elicited by the loss of blood, an adrenaline rush comedown and shock at all that happened in the past twenty-four hours, which is what he'd been afraid of, too busy piloting the helicopter, to be able to stop and assist, or keep her awake. Just a few more minutes, he'd kept telling himself, as he'd landed and thrown the water in her face, and then he'd take care of her, and attempt to put all right. And from her reaction, after he'd unceremoniously glared at him, then struggled out of the Chopper, and muttered her thoughts of him under her breath, he'd just exponentiallly increased the acts that he'd need to apologise before. Agent asshole indeed!

That utterance brought a quick smile to his lips - if she had enough energy to insult him, she'd have enough to make it to the cabin on her own two feet, however, this time he made the sane decision not to respond in kind, or with sarcasm. For there was something in Sky's tone that told him this time she was particularly serious. So, all Ben did was send her a shrug, surveyed the chopper, thinking that once were safely ensconced in a cabin he'd return to cover it with foliage, and slipped his gun from his holster, finger on the trigger.
