Yes, we will drop anything at any moment to answer that text, call, or comment on app. Would or do we do the same for our friends, family, significant others? Heck no! We say hang on a second I’m answering this text, or oops excuse me for a second while we take a phone call in front of them or while they were in mid conversation with us. I have seen people have mental break down if they can’t have their phone on them or it gets broken, but that same person hasn’t talked or seen their mom in weeks! Phones can be replaced your mother can not and it amazes me people don’t even think twice about that. Even teachers get disrespected because of these devices. Kids can’t wait fifty minutes to answer a text about the weekend to listen and learn to better their life. Even though there are those negatives, technology can benefit relationships and connections such as long distance relationships with family and significant others. Technology also helps make our lives easier. Being able to text someone quick about something important. Keeping notes on our phone or schedules also help so when your re out and about you can keep updated. Alarms on phones help with reminders such as taking medication, meetings, work, or any thing else you may need help remembering. We can take pictures to capture moments at anytime. In case o fan emergency we can use our phones to call or if we are lost we can just the GPS on our phones. In the end technology isn’t all bad it does also help and have good
