Granted some will say the trade had more depth and was a dramatic issue rather than a basketball issue. In 2013, Derrick Rose’s ex-girlfriend accused Rose and some of his friends of allegedly gang raping her while she was unconscious due to alcohol and drug use. While Rose and his friends …show more content…
If trading one of the top point guards in the league was the best thing you could come up with to help your team, you are truly a disgrace to the Chicago Bulls franchise. The Chicago Bulls started the season without Rose 3-0, which put them at the top of the standings in the entire league. The Bulls suffered their first loss on Friday to, ironically, the New York Knicks, with Derrick Rose in the lead, practically stomping on his former teammates. Rose was determined more than I am, to prove the Bulls made a grave mistake, and it’ll cost

The vast majority of his trades have turned out to be excellent, such as the trade that sent Zack Greinke to the Milwaukee Brewers for several minor league players, including current Royals All-Stars Lorenzo Cain and Alcides Escobar. He also traded minor league star Wil Meyers to the Tampa Bay Rays for pitchers James Shields and Wade Davis. This trade made many people furious because Meyers was supposed to become an MLB star, and he never did. It turned out successful because James Shields became the Royals ace pitcher and led them to the World Series, and Wade Davis who was unknown back then, has transformed into one of the best relief pitchers in baseball. The most important trait of Dayton Moore is his ability to be an impactful leader and set this franchise up for success.…

Rose tried his best in every game and never took money to play bad: “The documents obtained by Outside the Lines, which reflect betting records from March through July 1986, show no evidence that Rose, who was a player-manager in 1986, bet against his team” (Weinbaum and Quinn). Since there is no proof he bet against his own team there should be no reason to ban Rose from baseball for life. According to Major League Baseball Rules only betting against your team would call for a lifetime ban; betting on baseball is only a one year suspension. An article by Rick Weinberg he says, “One of history's greatest and celebrated players, had gambled on baseball and bet on his own team” (Weinberg).
