The Cheesecake Factory
When it comes to service, menu variety, and atmosphere, The Cheesecake Factory surpasses expectations in every category. For those reasons, it is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The Cheesecake Factory first began in Detroit, Michigan in the 1940s (TCF Co. LLC). Evelyn Overton, found a recipe in her local newspaper that would go on to inspire her “original” cheesecake recipe. As her cheesecakes grew in popularity, she and her husband decided to open their own shop, where they sold and supplied cheesecakes to restaurants. Fast forward to Beverly Hills, California, 1978, where her son would go on to open the first The Cheesecake Factory restaurant (TCF Co. LLC).
Up until 2013, I did not even know what The Cheesecake Factory was. I just thought it was a place where cheesecakes were made. After watching “The Big Bang Theory,” I realized it was an actual restaurant and not a factory like the name suggests. After realizing it was a restaurant with food other than cheesecake, I knew I had to try it. I have a love for food and cheesecake, so The Cheesecake Factory seemed like the perfect place for me. Since there was one not too far away, I decided I would have to try it out sooner rather than later.
My first experience with The Cheesecake Factory was in Columbus, Ohio. There are two, The Cheesecake Factory, locations in the Columbus area, one in Polaris and another in Easton. We chose to visit the one in Easton since it was closer for us. The…
