The Charter Oak State College, Usa And Cloud Computing And Data Center
The Charter Oak State College, USA and Cloud Computing and Data Center, China will jointly develop cooperative online educational services for students in China within the framework of this agreement. Charter Oak State College will customize four credit eligible courses, two English courses (ENG 101 and ENG 102) and two Math courses (MAT 121 and MAT 152), for Cloud Computing and Data Center (CCDC) students. Courses will be available for CCDC students for the Fall 2016 semester that starts August 22, 2016.
The expectations for the course development:
- Charter Oak State College will take their existing courses and customize them for CCDC to include recorded video lectures that will be created into mp4’s and transcripts for each video
- Charter Oak is providing CCDC a license to use the course content for two English courses (ENG 101 and ENG 102) and two Math courses (MAT 121 and MAT 152) as a part of this partnership only (see syllabi attached)
- Teaching fees will be covered by the tuition for students that are enrolled and pay all tuition and fees.
- The ownership of the curriculum will remain with Charter Oak State College.
CCDC will be responsible for all course development cost (course developer – creating recorded video lectures and transcripts for each module in the course and instructional designer fees) for all four course. (See cost breakdown below).
