Hedona was an intelligent and confident. Although she has many strengths in her personality, she also had some flaws. At times, Hedona could be irrational, making choices without thinking before acting. She was also moody, alternating between being elated and livid. Sometimes, Hedona was cordial towards the other gods and goddess, but there were instances where she would fight and argue with them as well. On one occasion, she and her sister, Eta, were having a disagreement about whose power was greater. In order to settle their little quarrel, they decided to ask their brother, Dytos who had the greater power. Being the God of Logic, Dytos knew that if he chose between the two that nothing good would come from it. Instead, he said that the both of them had a greater power. Because that wasn’t the answer that she wanted, Hedona came to the resolution that she was going to prove that she had the better capability. And she was going to do this by going fifty years into the future. Dytos tried to explain to Hedona that she shouldn’t play with time because the outcome could be severe. He said that the whole conflict was about two kings wanting to have power over a piece of land. The first king’s name was King Zodar from Patras, while the second king’s name was Aarus from her home city, Athens, which was where the current war was happening. When Hedona heard that the city that she lived in her whole life was being destroyed by a petty war, she decided that she would try and prevent the war from occurring. Before she left the future, Hedona wanted to walk around and see what was left of her beloved city. As she roamed about Athens, Hedona saw pain, hunger, and suffering. At this moment, Hedona wished that she had listened to her brother, Dytos, who suggested that she shouldn’t use her powers whenever she felt like it. She took it personal witnessing her home fall apart. After seeing all the things that she didn’t want to see, Hedona walked off to somewhere where there wasn’t anybody around and held her stopwatch necklace in her hand. Slowly, she pulled the hands of the clock backwards and arrived back in her longcase clock.
