The Characters In Daniel's Shadow Shaper By Sierra Daniel

After working as a paramedic and an activist for seven years, the author of this book, “Shadow shaper,” Daniel saw the need of composing a book that captures an individual’s mythology. According to the author, novels that had been written earlier on did not have a touch of the people’s faith. Most of these novel based their setting upon the mythology of European fantasy which regarding Daniel did not incorporate jokes and liveliness to the novel reader. With this reference, Daniel says that Harry Potter’s books as interesting as they did not display a touch of fantasy and inside joke for the reader. The character’s primary objective is to pull down the killer who is so determined to see the end of the shadow shaper generation. Through her actions, the community accepts her as its hero. The reason as to why the community has accorded Sierra this trait is because through her actions she will save the future generation of the shadow shaper painters. Other active characters in the novel, though are not well-developed includes, Juan who the author describes as a guitarist at the salsa-thresh band, Robbie, and Older. As the story continues Bennie, a friend to Sierra is also introduced to the reader. Bennie primary role is to assist the major character Sierra to raise the theme of supernatural powers. As Sierra went about visiting Bennie, she is attacked by the ghostly creatures along the street. In the conclusion of the novel Robbie who is Sierra’s companion artist helps the main character Sierra in inventing that shadow shaping is a delighting enchantment that helps the person using it to inculcate the ancestral spirits into the art of literature such as paintings, music, and …show more content…
Revelations from the story indicate that the killer believes that Sierra as the head of the artists is hiding something from them. Thus the main struggle that Sierra is being faced with is to expose individual’s family secrets, eradicate the killer thus saving the family from future threats. Moreover, other themes such as relationship, marriage, magic and supernatural powers are featured in this novel. The idea of supernatural powers has been revealed to the reader when Sierra is chased by spirits along the streets with no one to assist her.
