Video games nowadays are very narrative and tell a story that is meant to get the player involved and feel attached with the character or characters in the game. Some games are all narrative wise and are created to focus only on the story and not much on the gameplay. Games like these can be over 12 hours long and can take up a lot of time to complete. With the creation of a new sport based on playing video games, and the increase in websites that allows for people to share what they play, like Youtube and Twitch, it doesn’t seem that the popularity will go down any time soon.
