Employees who have high standards of professionalism are often identified with being more reliable than their coworkers , therefore professional employees that are considered leaders in their company and have more credibility in their work environment and focus on the work to avoid unnecessary distractions , allow them to contribute more to the company and are perceived as being relevant and valuable to the company , Imply promotions and salary increases. Professionalism makes the work environment more comfortable with employees and customers , as professional employees focus on work rather than personal issues and have got a strong sense of ethics , which is crucial to managing a successful company and to avoid legal problems . No matter what your position or title , You can always show professionalism at work . The elements of professionalism are the same whether you are the president of a company , an administrative assistant , a factory worker or an auxiliary cleaning . Ethics and professionalism individual roles highly respected , but each aim to improve interpersonal relationships . A good communication is essential but on the other hand , the confidentiality can be further better . Being able to talk openly with the manager about a problem , whether at work or in personal life of each one and the whole office doesn't get to know , brings trust among coworkers . The lack of professionalism can be in relation to customers and / or in relation to leadership , the company with disrespect , rude , grumpy , rude , antipathy , disorganization , delays , etc. .
