Mike Zellner Character Analysis

People often believe police are terrible people, that they give out false accusations. That may be the case with some cops, but most police are there to help you. Mike Zellner, a retired policeman was one of those men who wanted to help people. He wanted to do everything he could to make people feel comfortable. Everyone loves people who help out and always have a smile on their face; Mike is one of those people and has done many heroic acts. He takes risks to help others, has heroic traits, and has volunteered with many different things.
If you ever just need someone to talk to when you're having a bad day, or you just need a little coaching; getting a mentor will help you with this. One in three young people will grow up without a mentor. (Mentoring Impact). It assures people they aren't alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges; also it guarantees young people that there is someone who cares about them. (Mentoring impact). Being resilient is one of the many traits Mike has. On May 22, 2010, his son Ryne passed away of an overdose. He had to be resilient and go on doing his everyday routines. Could you imagine losing a child and have to go on family trips without their presence, or on holidays when you can't celebrate with them. I’m sure for Mike, this was the hardest thing to bounce back from. Another example is when he was a cop in California. He was trying to find the Zodiac killer. Mike found some evidence under a tree. The Zodiac Killer wrote a letter to the the newspaper and to the police saying that he had the chance to kill the man under the tree; Mike Zellner was the one under the tree.
