Being resilient is one of the many traits Mike has. On May 22, 2010, his son Ryne passed away of an overdose. He had to be resilient and go on doing his everyday routines. Could you imagine losing a child and have to go on family trips without their presence, or on holidays when you can't celebrate with them. I’m sure for Mike, this was the hardest thing to bounce back from. Another example is when he was a cop in California. He was trying to find the Zodiac killer. Mike found some evidence under a tree. The Zodiac Killer wrote a letter to the the newspaper and to the police saying that he had the chance to kill the man under the tree; Mike Zellner was the one under the tree.
