Everyone knows what is a lottery. I bet the first thing that would pop in your head when you hear the word ¨lottery¨ is money right? Well think again. Imagine winning the lottery made you lose your life. The short story ¨ The lottery” changed my view and these two charactoś in this story ( old man Warner and Tessie ) are the ones that caught my attention. Reasons why is because, they had a huge impact in the story. Let me tell you about this one man name Old Man Warner. He is the oldest guy in this small town. Mr.warner is short and kinda stubborn. He's the type of person that would speak his mind. In this short story you would hear him say ¨young people are crazy, they don't know what they are talking about¨. Warner always been around the lottery days and was lucky enough to never get chosen. He had actually been through 77 lottery's. Old man Warner does not like change, he just like the traditional way. It's noticeable Mr.Warner doesn't like change but tessie dose. She wants to to end it because, she thinks it's not fair. Another reason why she does not think it is not fair is because, she doesn't like the fact that everyone needs to be doing this, Tessie doesn't see no point into this. There is just many things to point out. They both have different opinions. In the story Tessie changes and Old Man Warner did not change. In conclusion the word ¨lottery¨ does not always have an happy ending. Ask yourself this question once again. Do you still think being able to win the lottery is actually fun in this little home town? It's actually crazy now the lottery can make you lose your life.
