Kids began to gamble outside in the court yard because Ms. Friedy had said that she did not want anyone hanging out in the yard during lunch time, so not only did they continue to go outside but they began to play cards and throw dice with money on the line. Kids began to write on the walls spitting words of hatred and disgust, they skipped class because they could not with stand the atmosphere, started riots to scare her into locking herself in her office. The lunch room wreaked of havoc. Students began to plot, their thoughts of ways to get rid of Ms. Friedy. Teachers had parents calling the Board of Education to complain and say that Ms. Friedy was hurting the education of the students and hurting the job atmosphere of the teachers. Friedy. Just as classes began to start, students lined up in packs joining together screaming “The revolution has begun!!”, others began to commence a sit down, others voiced their opinions of strong dislike towards the principal to the top of their lungs, and others tried to ignore it all at once to get to their next class. “We want change! We want change!” those words scrambled down the hall into the principal’s office. The slam of her door resisted against the noises of the students, but they fought back harder. Administration did nothing, they watched and grew proudness towards their students, they were ecstatic that the students took a stand because their resources fell flat, having the parents call was not fast enough, many parents were not into their child’s education to even care about what was going on. The sit down and the chants ran her out of the school. Within the next couple of days our old principal Ms. Williams was back in her rightful place, her office. The kids returned to obeying the rules and acting sane. The gambling and the writing on the walls stop. Students no longer skipped their classes and everything went back to what we call
