Turbulent Life Analysis

"So give me a turbulent world as opposed to a quiet world and I 'll take the turbulent one."(Andy Grove) In life you are given many choices. One such choice is whether you would like to live a tranquil, or turbulent life. Both life styles have very distinct and unique differences. This choice is most influenced by your experience, whether it be from your childhood or adult life. At the young age of four-teen I have accumulated only a portion of the experience soon to come. To me living a turbulent life would mean looking forward to excitement, risk, adventure,or pain and loss. When seeing this it brought the realization of crossing the crevasse to me. I gained the knowledge that day of what it felt like to have a thrilling yet frightening experience. I learned how risk was not one sided, not all risk will pay off in your favor, like wise not all will come back to bit you in the butt. Risk can also be recorded on a much smaller scale. Think of risk as leaving your comfort zone or testing your mental barriers. One risk that I truly cherish is when I took the opportunity to go two a U.W science and mathematics camp. I was in fifth grade and never really been away from home for an extended period of time. I never really liked the idea of leaving home for an extended period of time and going some place with strangers. I learned of this camp through our newspaper and decided to take the risk of attending. To apply you need two teacher recommendations and a essay explaining why you wanted to attend. I applied and got a letter a few weeks later saying I was excepted. This was both terrifying yet exciting. I became apprehensive about attending the camp due to the fact that it would last ten days in Laramie. I had never thought that I
