We have become complacent with our learning today in our society. We decide that just teaching was enough for our kids. Our education is systematic we believe that every child learns the same, but it 's not true. Furthermore, kids are left out and feel they can’t benefit from the education. Today most kids graduated from high school or college without gaining any real skills in today 's world. Most of the jobs that my parents had available aren’t here anymore for the next generation. Some students do not feel like they fit in the school system ideology of good students, and some have more outlandish ways of thinking. Giving students aren 't way to help themselves out and make a living on their own. Furthermore, college wouldn 't have to be a need and would be a want instead. Bell hooke went to stanford to able to have a sustainable life. She believed the only way to do it is through the going to college and getting a degree. What more is, Hook believed she was getting a stellar education and people there were also want to be great like she does but unfortunately she was wrong. A lot of students go to college because they dont see any other ways to succeed in life. So they go into debt and come out regretting their experience at college.
