Growing up we face many challenges, whether it’s peer pressure, quid pro quo or environmental, these opportunities to experiment with drugs could have lasting effects on everyone involved. Often the consequences of taking performance enhancing drugs are minor issues, but could have a major impact, it’s effect could be negative and the results could be completely unexpected. The decisions that we make influence the world we live in.
Ethical Dilemma
Members of Paul’s team have been experimenting with a new performance enhancing drug for some time and have been greeting great results. On the positive side, if Paul takes the product, then he will become bigger, stronger and faster. The negative side, he is killing his body and could risk an injury. Even though the drug is not a banned substance or illegal, the team continues to win why using the product, the coach even ignores or looks the other way when players use it. If Paul chooses not to use the performance enhancing drug, he will still have his integrity, but his teammates might have a hard time understanding. The activity and the actions that we take, not only affects us, but they also affect everyone else around us, if God can’t trust us with the little things, then how is he going to trust us with the bigger things. We are to move from glory to glory, our relationship with God is to keep moving forward.
