Although this is a topic of great interest to me and the current context in which I serve; the material has often caused me to gravitate more towards The Adaptive Leadership textbook by Heifetz. All things considered, I believe that the development of the Synergy paper actually presents the student and pastoral leaders with a unique opportunity to shape the destiny of the local church and the AME denomination by virtue of two major advantages at their disposal. First, the availability and accessibility of successful nationally recognized experts in the area of Adaptive Leadership and Transformative Learning. The first being what I learned from the course, mostly what I learned in lectures and doing Learnsmart questions.
