Although, in my case the village consists of a variety of programs and clubs that have molded me to who I am today. As an involved individual, I have noticed I have benefitted educationally, and socially as well. I began high school being a member in New Mexico Tech’s Upward Bound Program. Through this program, Loyola Marymount University for an on-campus stay.…

I believe that I am deserving of this award because all of my life I have been raised and guided to always lend a helping hand to a person in need. From an early age I have been a member of a local Boy Scout Troop in Terrell TX, Troop 390, with them I have helped my community whether helping clean and put up tents at our annual Jubilee, or painting parks and decorating and cleaning churches. I have a strong passion for my Boy Scout Troop so even though I am currently an eagle scout and I am not required to attend meeting and events I attend to help and set a good example to the younger scouts. I have enjoyed my boy scouts experience because other than the community service projects we had I also learned a lot of valuable life lessons and skills…
