Why didn’t they take the raft back to there home instead of an island.
They had to be close to home because the plane crashed almost instantly.
The purpose of writing The Cay was to show friendship and treating each other equal.
I was wondering about the beginning and I wanted to ask where everyone else on the trip went.
How Philip's parents lived with no harm, there was never an explanation to why they lived.
Only Phillips Story Was Shown. The story of The Cay changed me because the story shows how respect for other people can help you.
It also shows how much it matters.

Timothy was at all times respectful even when Philip was mean to him. They find or kill animals to survive. Timothy teaches Philip to hunt food and water. Philip starts to go blind by looking at the sun. Philip needs to learn to survive without being able to see. Timothy cannot teach him because he was never blind. Philip started to hate Timothy again after he became blind.
How unfair other people were treated when they didn’t deserve it. How the dumbest people can think of the smartest things. It makes me try and think of ways that they will get off of the island or try. It makes me feel bad when they say all the good things at home. I hear leaves shaking in the wind at the end. I hear big waves hear the end when they had a storm. I hear birds chirping or cricket sounds when the island is all peaceful.
A quote from the story that I liked was “Young bahss, you’ve always been my friend”. A quote that I liked was “Stay alive Young Bahss that's what we ave to do”. A quote I liked was”why b’feesh different color or flower b’different color”? A quote from the story I liked was “Young bahss be an outrageous if you like, but ere i'm all you got. ”A quote from I liked from the story I liked was “I true don’t know phil-eep but I true think d’skin is all the same.” It takes a lot of time for Timothy to finally let Philip be alone in the wild. When Timothy died he had to stay for a couple more months. Even worse is that he was blind and couldn’t

Title: “Taming The Star Runner” The title makes me wonder what kind of horse The Star Runner was. It sparks my interest and makes me also wonder how he tamed the Star Runner. At the beginning of The Cay, Phillip can be best described as confused when he wakes up on a raft with a black man named Timothy after the boat named S.S. Hato was torpedoed by a German U-Boat. After the crash Phillip is freaking out because he doesn't know where he or his mother is. Then, Philip becomes surprised and realizes that he was safe on the SS Hato and next thing you know he is knocked out and turns up on a raft with a big, black man. Towards the middle of the book, Philip can likely be defined as uncooperative when he is trying to make palm mats for the shelter and he can't do it, so he gets mad at Timothy and calls him an ugly black man when all Timothy was trying to do was help him.…

In William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, conflict - both internal and external - portrays a major development in the theme and plot of the young boys in this novel. On an island composed of only pre-adolescent boys, it is unquestionable that there would be conflict amongst them. Golding blatantly shows the reader the external conflicts that occur between one another, including both physical and verbal altercations. The author also cryptically gives the reader a display of the conflict the boys struggle with within themselves and their own thoughts. Despite the many instances of external conflict, the subtle internal conflicts are much more critical to the plot and overall theme of Lord of the Flies.…
