Global warming has always been a thought in the back of scientist heads and they knew that it could eventually happen because of the heating of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, but in the early 1990’s, scientists had discovered that global warming was quickly becoming an issue on Earth and according to many researches, 97% of those scientist say that humans are the reason for it. According to the PBS documentary, “the climate has gone up 4-5 degrees in just the last fifty years in Alaska, while it should only rise one temperature a year.” The climates are migrating and causing disasters in new regions.

When people are driving their vehicle everywhere it is producing gases, such as carbon dioxide, which are very harmful for a human to breathe in, and those gases are polluting the air. Also, when as the cars are producing these harmful gases, the gases can also sink into the soil and surface waters where they can enter our human food chain. When they enter the food chain, that means humans are digesting these gases. They can affect the human 's reproductive system, respiratory system, and immune systems. People may develop heart disease, especially younger children and newborns because their organs are not fully developed yet as for adults organs are. When people have too much exposure to these gases, they may feel tired and may develop a headache. The U.S. is trying to create cars that will burn more less fuels. A California cop agency was the first cop car agency to have hybrid cars.
