One issue people are indifferent about is homeless people. Being homeless means to be without a home,and therefore typically living on the streets. The U.S. department of Housing and Urban Development says there are four categories of homelessness: Literally homeless, Imminent Risk of Homelessness, Homeless under other federal statutes, and Fleeing/ Attempting to flee domestic violence.

The reason I am researching this issue is because many people in the United States are indifferent to homeless people. There are several causes of homelessness. As a result , over 670,000 Americans are homeless and the other few thousands of people whom are not have no particular interest, sympathy, or concern for the ones that are.
