In the play Romeo and Juliet By William Shakespeare, the cause of death for both Romeo and Juliet was poison. Think of the character that introduced the farce of death via poison to escape marriage. Friar Laurence, in order to prevent the marriage of Juliet and Paris, introduces a last minute plan to fake Julie’s death, thus stopping the wedding. The real problem of Romeo and Juliet was improper planning. One problem of the plan was how rushed it was. Juliet runs away to Friar’s doorstep convinced that killing herself was a viable solution to her problems, with only days before the wedding.
