There was a time when you called someone that was not engaged in a group an antisocial person, other than the misusage of this word there is a bigger issue to be aware in our society. The following information that will be provided in this paper might be an eye opener of what and how a person that carries the Antisocial Personality Disorder acts in society.

For instances, a young child in a household where he experience domestic violence between their parents, drug abuse, alcohol abuse or was sexually abused before, or simply the absence of a parental figure tend to be in a higher risk to develop the disorder. Besides the traumatics experiences it's to believed that genetics plays a role in the development of the disorders as well as hormonal changes during puberty might increase the chance of having ASDP. Reason why, is because it depends on the severity the patient is at. Some people do not know or want to admit that they have the condition, therefore the willingness of the patients is crucial to have a result. Psychotherapy , also known as talk therapy is sometimes used to treat patients with ASPD. Therapy may include treatment for substances abuse, violence and anger treatment or treatments for other mental conditions with the hope that it may work on the patient. Psychotherapy is not always effective, especially if the symptoms are severe and the person is not willing to cooperate with the treatment. Medication is another way to treat a patient but this has not currently being approved by the Food and Drug Administration due to insufficient evidence that the drugs would directly help patients that have antisocial personality disorder. In the other hand, Doctor that have patients seeking for help would prescribed medications that associated patterns with ASPD, such as impulsive aggression, anxiety, depression and etc. They may prescribe antianxiety, antipsychotic medications, mood stabilizers and
