Reason for topic- I’ve decided to write about alcohol abuse because it has effected people in my family in many ways

Alcohol abuse can vary from how someone views it. I believe alcohol abuse also has to do with the reasons why you’re drinking. If you drink to “cope” this could be another …show more content…
But there is a risk factor. People who already abuse alcohol when faced with family death, brake up or loss of work they are at greater risk of becoming a full blown alcoholic.
Major problems include the risk of the abuse turning into alcoholism, Alcoholism has a lot of the same symptoms as alcohol abuse but with a physical dependency. If you physically relay on alcohol or feel compelled to drink you are an alcoholic.
Physical health issues include Anxiety or jumpiness, Shakiness or trembling, Sweating, Nausea and vomiting, Insomnia, Depression, Irritability, Fatigue, Loss of appetite and Headache.
Long-term alcohol use can cause serious health complications, affecting every organ in your body, including your brain.
Social interactions may start to dwindle when friends and family start to ask questions about someone’s drinking, the will start to drink alone and isolate themselves to avoid being questioned. Social interactions may also become very important to someone who is abusing alcohol because they will take every opportunity to get out and drink. when peopleare drinking in the cimmuntiy they may cause dismay ei fightingand needing police presents. this uses tax payers money and generaly this makes people have an anger or an upset about the situation. With general public who do not suffer from alcholl abuse there fustration with the "drunk population" leaves them fustrated with little to no compassion for these people suffering from this illness. With alchol abuse and alcholisium there is usually a link with depression, anixity and low self esteem . Alot of he time socitey just sees the problems aloholics cause instead of looking at the bigger picture of why they may be using
